Shanti offers modern getaway experiences, with comfort and a small eco-footprint at the forefront of the trip. We want to help urban dwellers explore freely and take in all the benefits of immersing oneself in nature. We offer curated day experiences close to NYC, where you can explore the local community and shops after hiking the beautiful landscapes New York has to offer while disconnecting from the everyday grind. We also offer short-term stays in our tiny homes, all of which either repurpose previously used materials (e.g., shipping containers) or are made with sustainably sourced wood. We keep the impact of your trip small, so you can enjoy your home away from home, in peace.

The Logos & Icon
The primary logo in both black and white is simple, yet modern and gives the viewer a sense of what our brand entails through the replacement of the "A" with a vector that resembles a tent. The tagline "Explore Freely" centered below the name conveys the mission of Shanti: to help urban dwellers find their peace in nature with a small eco-footprint at the forefront of each trip. The icon is a more rounded and distinct tent in a muted green tone with Shanti written on a curved path, which is easily recognizable even when shrunken down.
Color Palette
The visually inviting brand colors were carefully chosen and include earthy tones of green and tan, as well as black and white, to reflect the natural elements of our services. They are present throughout the logo and icon designs, in addition to the website interface.
Typography
Montserrat, a sans-serif typeface that is modern and versatile, is the primary font for our logo design and is also used throughout the digital experience. The secondary fonts chosen for the website include Rozha One and Avenir Light, both highly legible for main body content and subsection headers.
The Website
Shanti's seamlessly integrated website is mobile responsive, search engine optimized, and fully realized. The careful attention to detail and consistency in color provides a pleasing digital experience for our visitors.
